Al Hilal secured a significant 3-1 victory over Al Ettifaq in Round 10 of the Saudi Pro League, reclaiming the top spot in the league table with 28 points. The win ended Al Hilal’s recent winless streak and showcased their strength as a top competitor in the league. Despite Al Ettifaq’s strong defensive performance in the first half, Al Hilal managed to break through with goals from Mitrovic and Malcolm. Al Hilal’s captain, Salem Al Dawsari, was unfortunately forced off due to injury, but the team showed resilience and secured the win with a late goal from Mohammad Al Qahtani.

The match started off with Al Ettifaq putting up a tough defensive front, frustrating Al Hilal’s attempts to score in the first half. However, just before halftime, Serbian striker Mitrovic capitalized on a perfect cross from Brazilian Lodi to score the opening goal for Al Hilal. This breakthrough set the tone for the rest of the match, with Al Hilal gaining momentum and asserting their dominance on the field. Despite losing their captain to injury, Al Hilal remained composed and focused on securing the win.

Al Ettifaq, on the other hand, struggled to find their footing throughout the match and continued their winless streak in the league. Despite showing some attacking intent in an effort to get back into the game, Al Ettifaq was unable to break through Al Hilal’s solid defense. Brazilian forward Malcolm further solidified Al Hilal’s lead with a goal in the 81st minute, showcasing the team’s attacking prowess and determination to secure the three points.

The match saw a late penalty awarded to Al Ettifaq in the third minute of stoppage time, allowing Brazilian Vitinho to pull one back for his side. However, Al Hilal quickly responded with a brilliant solo effort from Mohammad Al Qahtani in the seventh minute of added time, sealing the win and confirming their deserving claim to the victory. The match ended on a tense note with Al Ettifaq’s Abdullah Radif receiving a red card following an altercation with Al Hilal’s defender Ali Al Bulayhi, highlighting the intensity of the match.

In conclusion, Al Hilal’s 3-1 victory over Al Ettifaq in Round 10 of the Saudi Pro League showcased their strength as a top competitor in the league. The win propelled Al Hilal back to the top spot in the league table with 28 points, reaffirming their status as a formidable team in the competition. Despite facing challenges, such as the injury to their captain Salem Al Dawsari, Al Hilal displayed resilience and determination to secure the win. The match highlighted Al Hilal’s attacking prowess and defensive strength, as well as their ability to capitalize on opportunities to score goals. Overall, the victory was a testament to Al Hilal’s skill and competitiveness in the Saudi Pro League.
