Hamad bin Abdulrahman Al Attiyah, the President of the Asian Equestrian Federation and QREC Vice Chairman, recently honored the winners of the Gr1 Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, which was claimed by Camille Pissaro. Al Shaqab Racing’s champion, Al Ghadeer, secured the Qatar Arabian World Cup for the second consecutive year at the ParisLongchamp racecourse. The horse, trained by Francois Rohaut and ridden by Christophe Soumillon, showcased exceptional performance in the final leg of the Triple Crown in Doha. The prestigious event was attended by dignitaries including H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani and QREC Chairman Issa bin Mohammed Al Mohannadi.

The thrilling Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend culminated in the crowning of Al Ghadeer as the Qatar Arabian World Cup winner. The event, which featured a total of seven group 1 races with significant prize money, showcased the prowess of top horses competing on the international stage. The QREC Chairman, alongside other officials, presented the trophies to the deserving winners, highlighting the success of the event. Additionally, cultural shows organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture introduced European spectators to Qatari traditions and heritage, creating a unique experience for all attendees.

Al Ghadeer’s victory in the Qatar Arabian World Cup demonstrated his exceptional talent and skill, securing his place as a legendary racehorse with a remarkable track record of consecutive victories. Trained by Francois Rohaut and owned by Al Shaqab Racing, the five-year-old showcased his dominance on the field under the guidance of jockey Christophe Soumillon. The horse’s impressive win was met with praise from the winning trainer, who hailed Al Ghadeer as a once-in-a-lifetime horse with unmatched capabilities.

Bluestocking, the winner of the Prix Vermeille, made history with a stunning victory in the prestigious Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Owned and bred by Juddmonte Farms, the filly’s triumph in the iconic race marked a significant milestone for trainer Ralph Beckett and jockey Rossa Ryan. Bluestocking’s incredible performance highlighted her potential and solidified her position as a rising star in the world of horse racing, earning accolades from spectators and racing enthusiasts alike.

The Qatar-sponsored Prix Marcel Boussac witnessed an exciting battle between Vertical Blue and Zarigana, with the former securing her first Gr.1 victory in a thrilling finish. Trained by Francis-Henri Graffard, the two-year-old filly displayed remarkable improvement, surpassing expectations to claim the prestigious title. The intense competition on the field added to the excitement of the event, showcasing the talent and dedication of both the horses and their trainers in the competitive racing environment.

The Gr.1 Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp Longines saw Makarova shine with a brilliant performance, clinching the top honors in the race. Trained by Ed Walker and ridden by Tom Marquand, the mare’s victory demonstrated her continued progression and excellence on the racetrack. The race also featured the impressive win of Friendly Soul in the Gr.1 Prix De l’Opera Longines, with the British-trained filly securing her fifth victory from six starts and showcasing her exceptional potential in the racing world. Overall, the thrilling events at the ParisLongchamp racecourse highlighted the talent and competitiveness of top racehorses in the global racing scene.
