Al Binali wins the Amateur class at Longines Hathab riding Zion

The fourth round of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour saw Ghanem Mohammed Al Binali clinch victory in the Amateur category, with a winning time of 27.07 seconds riding Zion. Following closely behind were Jaber Ibrahim Al Marri, who took second place on Santa with 27.23 seconds, and Mohammed Faisal Al Marri, finishing third on Dusty with a time of 27.48 seconds. The winners were congratulated by Omar Al Buainain, QEF’s Director of Support Services Sector.

In the Future Riders 60cm class, Ali Khaled Al Obaidli emerged as the champion with his horse Lancome, clocking in at 55.05 seconds. Nasser bin Hamad Al Thani secured the second spot riding Saita in 54.78 seconds, while Hessa Ali Al Jaber finished in third place on Tinkerbell with a time of 53.83 seconds. The winners received their accolades at the event.

Hassan Ali Al Marhoon claimed the top position in the Future Riders 80cm class, completing the course in 68.61 seconds on Argelith Squid. Mohammed Abdullah Al Marri followed closely behind in second place with a time of 69.47 seconds riding Animo, while Ibrahim Mohammed Al Zeyara took third place in 69.61 seconds on Fredrikshof. The podium winners were recognized by Sheikh Ahmed bin Noah Al Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Hathab Championship.

Overall, the event was a showcase of talented equestrians competing in various classes and categories. The Qatar Equestrian Federation provided a platform for these riders to demonstrate their skills and compete against one another. The presence of esteemed personalities such as Omar Al Buainain and Sheikh Ahmed bin Noah Al Thani added prestige to the competition, and the winners were rightly honored for their achievements. Equestrian sports continue to be popular in Qatar, attracting participants and spectators alike.
