AI takes over India Mobile Congress 2024, featuring more than 750 use cases

The India Mobile Congress 2024 in New Delhi highlighted Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a key theme, with over 900 technology use cases showcased, including 750 AI-based solutions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also interacted with pioneering startups, showcasing India’s leadership in cutting-edge technology innovations. The AI use cases focused on various areas such as conservation, convenience, efficiency, safety, and more. Solutions for railway safety and combating spam calls were also showcased by companies like Bharti Airtel and Ericsson.

Innovations like a 5G powered robotic dog and AI-powered spam detection solution were showcased at the event, demonstrating the potential of AI in various industries. Reliance Jio offered a preview of PhoneCall AI, a feature for transcribing and summarizing phone calls, while Vodafone Idea demonstrated the transmission of real-time diagnostic reports over its high-speed network for remote video consultations. Startups showcased humanoid, digital coworkers, AI-powered marketing bots, and de-addiction programs, highlighting the wide range of applications for AI technology.

The event also saw participation from education institutes like IITs and engineering colleges, offering a platform for sharing ideas, displaying innovations, and interactions with industry leaders. Prestigious academic institutions like IITs and IIMs showcased groundbreaking research and technological advancements, shaping the future of telecom and technology in India. The India Mobile Congress also featured initiatives addressing cybersecurity, smart agriculture, and aquarium management through AI-based solutions.

Overall, the India Mobile Congress 2024 served as a platform for showcasing innovative solutions, services, and state-of-the-art use cases for industry, government, academics, startups, and other key stakeholders in the technology and telecom ecosystem. With over 400 exhibitors, 900 startups, and participants from over 120 countries, the event demonstrated the growing presence of India as a leader in the digital technology space.
