Lara El Chaib, a talented golfer from Abu Dhabi, is set to embark on an exciting journey to Jacksonville State University in Alabama on a golf scholarship. At just 18 years old, Lara is thrilled at the prospect of playing at a collegiate level and exploring new golf courses across the US. Her goals include improving her game, lowering her World Amateur Golf Ranking, and potentially winning college events.

As a member of the UAE National team and holding a +1 handicap, Lara has already proven herself as a skilled player. She recently visited the university to meet her College Coach, Robbie Fields, tour the campus, and get acquainted with her teammates. The experience left her eager to start her college golf career in the fall and take advantage of the excellent facilities and weather at the university.

In addition to her golf pursuits, Lara will also be studying media and communications at Jacksonville State University. Reflecting on her time in the UAE, she is grateful for the opportunity to represent her country on the National Golf team and looks forward to staying connected with friends who are also pursuing college golf in the US.

Overall, Lara El Chaib’s journey to Jacksonville State University is filled with promise and excitement as she seeks to further develop her skills, compete at a higher level, and make lasting connections both on and off the golf course. With her talent and determination, she is poised to make a significant impact in the world of collegiate golf and beyond.
