Liya Rafeeq, a student from Model Private School in Abu Dhabi, achieved top marks in the Kerala Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) with an impressive score of 99.67%. Despite not having time for social media during her academic years, she dedicated herself to self-study and hard work, leading to her success. She also received a full scholarship from New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and is aiming for the Golden Visa.

In her first year of exams, Liya lost four marks, which motivated her to work even harder in the second year. She scored a perfect 100 in all six subjects to secure a grand total of 1,196 marks. Her dedication and focus on academic excellence paid off, and she expressed joy and tears of happiness upon achieving a centum in all subjects.

Maintaining a balance between academics and personal life, Liya enjoys engaging in art, painting, public speaking, and journaling. She credits her success to her ability to absorb information in the classroom and work diligently during exam periods. Unlike many teenagers, Liya is not attached to social media and prefers a simpler lifestyle without the distractions of constant connectivity.

Her dream of studying interactive media and design at NYUAD became a reality when she was offered a full scholarship after excelling in the university’s selection process. With the strong support of her family, Liya is determined to make the most of this opportunity and hopes to start her own venture one day. She also aims to obtain the Golden Visa for additional opportunities in the future.

Liya’s best friend Ashitha Shajir achieved the second-highest marks in the country with a total score of 1,195. Similar to Liya, Ashitha is not constantly studying but puts in hard work when exams approach. Despite facing challenges in the exams, both students have shown resilience and determination in achieving their academic goals. Ashitha also expressed interest in pursuing medical entrance coaching and obtaining the Golden Visa for future prospects.

In conclusion, the success stories of Liya Rafeeq and Ashitha Shajir highlight the importance of hard work, dedication, and self-discipline in academic achievements. These students serve as inspirations for young individuals to prioritize education and personal development while balancing extracurricular activities and social commitments. Their academic excellence and achievements reinforce the value of perseverance and focus in reaching one’s goals.
