The hotel industry in Oman continues to expand with the upcoming opening of the Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa in Jabal Akhdar next month. Situated 2,000 meters above sea level, the hotel offers 173 beautifully designed rooms, suites, and chalets with majestic views. The hotel, set to open on September 1, 2024, aims to provide a unique mountain escape experience infused with wellness and local cultural experiences.

James Reeves, the General Manager, highlighted the team’s dedication in capturing the essence of Jabal Akhdar through every detail and experience curated at the resort. The design of the hotel reflects the colors and textures of the mountain, showcasing Omani heritage. Visitors can expect to immerse themselves in the stories of the local communities who have thrived in the region for centuries while enjoying outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.

Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar offers an opportunity to reimagine life on the Green Mountain by exploring historic villages, ancient dwellings, terraced gardens, and embracing the tranquility of the mountain air. The Jala Spa & Wellness is a sanctuary on the Green Mountain, providing rejuvenating treatments inspired by ancient Omani traditions and modern techniques. Guests can indulge in treatments in the extensive spa facility, featuring Himalayan salt rooms, thermal zones, and indoor vitality pools.

The resort boasts three distinct dining venues that offer a culinary journey through the ancient Zanzibari spice trade and locally-sourced fresh ingredients. Vue Rooftop & Lounge offers panoramic canyon views along with craft cocktails and wood-fired dishes. Wadi Habib serves authentic Omani flavors in a warm setting, while Zaatar provides an all-day dining experience for sharing stories and connecting with fellow travelers.

Overall, the Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa promises a memorable mountain retreat experience where guests can connect with nature, immerse themselves in the local culture, and indulge in wellness treatments. With breathtaking views, curated experiences, and unique dining options, the hotel aims to provide visitors with an unforgettable stay in the heart of Oman’s Green Mountain.
