Doha, Qatar – Safari Hypermarket, a prominent retail chain in Doha, announced the first winners of its “Shop & Drive – Win 30 Bestune Cars” promotion on January 5, 2026. The mega-promotion offers customers a chance to win a Bestune car with every QR 50 purchase at any Safari Hypermarket location. Four winners were selected in the initial draw, with more opportunities to win forthcoming.

The draw took place at the Safari Hypermarket branch on Salwa Road, with representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Safari management present to oversee the proceedings. Winners included Kommunoori Pullaiah (Coupon No: SDB100071844), Johnny Lee Eli Narvaez (Coupon No: SDB100225679), Shahid Hussain Ashiqur Hussain (Coupon No: SDB100965015), and Ansar Meethalevellari (Coupon No: SDB100715570). This promotion aims to boost retail sales and customer engagement during the winter season.

Safari Hypermarket’s Mega Promotion Offers Chances to Win a Bestune Car

Safari Hypermarket has established itself as a significant player in Qatar’s retail landscape, consistently attracting shoppers with large-scale promotional events. The company operates several hypermarket branches across Doha and surrounding areas, offering a wide array of products including groceries, electronics, and household goods. This latest campaign builds upon Safari’s history of rewarding customer loyalty through attractive prizes.

Under the terms of the “Shop & Drive” promotion, customers automatically receive an e-raffle coupon for each QR 50 spent. This equalizes the opportunity for all shoppers, regardless of the size of their transaction, to participate in the draws. The promotion’s structure with multiple draws is designed to maintain customer interest over an extended period.

Promotion Details and Future Draws

The promotion is segmented into regular draws awarding four Bestune cars each, culminating in a grand final draw featuring five vehicles. This tiered approach creates a sense of urgency and excitement as the final draw approaches. According to Safari management, the response to the promotion has been overwhelmingly positive, indicating a strong appetite for such initiatives among shoppers in Qatar.

Qatar’s retail sector has observed consistent growth, fueled by a rising population and increased disposable income. Promotions like “Shop & Drive” contribute to this growth by encouraging consumer spending and driving foot traffic to retail establishments. Competition within the hypermarket segment is reportedly intense, with chains like LuLu Hypermarket and Carrefour also regularly offering promotions to attract customers, adding to the competitive landscape.

The Ministry of Commerce plays a supervisory role in these promotions, ensuring adherence to regulations and transparency in the draw process. This oversight is intended to protect consumer rights and build trust in promotional activities. Throughout the years, Safari has built trust with its customer base through these regulated campaigns.

The second draw for the “Shop & Drive – Win 30 Bestune Cars” promotion is scheduled for February 15, 2026, at the Safari Hypermarket located in Al Khor. The availability of coupons continues with every QR 50 purchase made at all Safari outlets. The final draw date and location have not yet been announced.

Looking ahead, the success of this promotion will likely be measured by the overall increase in sales volume and customer engagement. It remains to be seen whether similar large-scale promotions will become a more frequent feature of the Qatari retail calendar. Observers will also monitor the impact of fluctuating global economic conditions on consumer spending in the coming months.
