Doha, Qatar – The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs successfully concluded its annual sports tournament for Quran Teaching Centre students on December 30th, 2025. The event, held at the Ministry’s Abu Hamour football pitches from December 12th, fostered a spirit of competition and reinforced educational values among young participants. Thirty-two teams representing centers across Qatar participated in the tournament, designed to enhance student engagement with Quranic studies.
The initiative, which began earlier in December, saw robust involvement from students dedicated to memorizing and understanding the Holy Quran. According to the Ministry, the tournament’s location at the Abu Hamour pitches allowed for centralized organization and accessibility for all participating centers.
