Dubai’s luxury real estate market continues to evolve with the unveiling of The Symphony by Imtiaz, a new mixed-use development in Meydan designed in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects. The project, officially launched at the Coca-Cola Arena, features ultra-luxury residences, office spaces, and retail units, aiming to set a new standard for design-led living in the city. The launch event drew significant attention from investors and industry professionals, signaling strong interest in the ambitious project.

Global superstar Hrithik Roshan, the brand ambassador for Imtiaz Developments, attended the launch event, highlighting the project’s prestige. A formal agreement between Imtiaz Developments and Zaha Hadid Architects was previously signed at ZHA Headquarters in London, with Masih Imtiaz, CEO of Imtiaz Developments, and Gianluca Racana, Director at ZHA, present. This collaboration marks a significant step for Imtiaz as they introduce their most ambitious development to date.

The Symphony by Imtiaz: A Fusion of Heritage and Modern Architecture

The Symphony will occupy a 4,234 square meter plot in the Meydan district, known for its association with equestrian sports and upscale living. The design concept draws inspiration from traditional Emirati crafts, specifically Sadu weaving and Talli embroidery, incorporating their geometric patterns into a contemporary architectural form. This approach aims to create a building that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and distinctly modern.

Masih Imtiaz stated that the project represents a legacy in the making, pushing the boundaries of luxury living in Dubai. He emphasized the importance of the collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects in achieving this vision. The development is positioned to be a landmark project for Meydan and a defining moment for Imtiaz Developments.

Location and Pricing

Located just 10 minutes from Downtown Dubai, The Symphony offers residents panoramic views of the city skyline and a high degree of privacy. The area is experiencing increasing demand as a desirable residential address, benefiting from its proximity to key leisure and sporting destinations. Residential units within The Symphony will start at approximately Dh2 million, with penthouses reaching up to Dh20 million, reflecting its positioning at the high end of the market.

Gianluca Racana of Zaha Hadid Architects noted Dubai’s commitment to innovation and how The Symphony embodies that spirit. He believes the project successfully blends advanced design principles with cultural significance, creating a living environment suited for the future of urban life. The design aims to resonate with investors seeking unique and iconic properties.

Dubai’s Expanding Luxury Real Estate Sector

The launch of The Symphony occurs within a broader context of growth in Dubai’s real estate sector, particularly in the luxury segment. According to recent reports from property consultancies, demand for high-end properties in Dubai has remained robust, driven by both domestic and international investors. This trend is fueled by the city’s economic stability, attractive investment climate, and lifestyle offerings.

However, increased supply in certain areas of Dubai could potentially impact price growth in the coming years. The Dubai Land Department continues to monitor market dynamics and implement policies to ensure sustainable development. The ongoing infrastructure projects, such as the expansion of the Dubai Metro, are also expected to influence property values and accessibility across the city.

Construction and Completion Timeline

Construction on The Symphony is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2026. Imtiaz Developments has set a target completion date of the second quarter of 2029. The project is anticipated to attract significant interest from high-net-worth individuals and design-conscious investors globally. The development’s unique architectural features and prime location are expected to be key selling points.

The successful execution of the construction phase will be crucial for delivering on the project’s promises. Potential delays related to material sourcing or labor availability could impact the timeline. Monitoring the progress of construction and any potential challenges will be important for stakeholders.

Looking ahead, the next key milestone will be the commencement of construction in Q1 2026. The market will be watching to see how quickly the project progresses and whether it attracts the anticipated level of investor interest. Several other high-profile developments are planned or underway in Meydan, creating a competitive landscape and highlighting Dubai’s continued focus on attracting real estate investment.
