Dr. Muna Tahlak, a professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), has completed her term as President of the International Hospital Federation (IHF), a position she held since 2023, becoming the first Arab woman to lead the organization since its inception in 1929. The conclusion of her presidency was marked during the 48th World Hospital Congress in Geneva.

The event was attended by notable figures including Dr. Alawi Alsheikh-Ali, Director General of Dubai Health Authority, and Dr. Amer Sharif, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Health and President of MBRU.
