Recently, Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) participated in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s ‘Spring Centers’ initiative, held from December 22, 2024, to January 1, 2025. QRCS’s involvement aligns with its mission to prepare a generation that values humanitarianism and contributes to societal issues, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

During the event, QRCS’s first aid team conducted workshops to teach students life-saving skills, focusing on managing common injuries in school and society. The initiative aimed to equip young individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to handle emergency situations effectively.

In a statement, QRCS emphasized the importance of its collaboration with the Ministry, which extended beyond providing training workshops. The organization’s 42 volunteers, both male, and female, played a crucial role in supervising and organizing the centers, highlighting QRCS’s dedication to supporting the community and enhancing individual capabilities.

QRCS’s participation in the ‘Spring Centers’ initiative underscores its commitment to promoting humanitarian values and empowering the youth to contribute positively to society. By engaging in such initiatives, QRCS continues to play an essential role in fostering a sense of responsibility and compassion among the younger generation.

Through its workshops and volunteer efforts, QRCS aimed to instill confidence and equip students with essential life-saving skills that can make a significant difference in emergency situations. The organization’s focus on education and preparedness reflects its commitment to creating a more resilient and compassionate society.
