OQ, a global investment energy group, recently announced the official launch of e-Symphony, its large-scale project to implement RISE with SAP on a private cloud. This groundbreaking initiative signifies a significant transition of OQ’s One ERP platform into a cloud-based environment, allowing for enhanced operational efficiency, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making across their operations. Maryam Al Shaibani, Vice President of OQ Corporate IDS, emphasized that this milestone represents more than just a technological upgrade, but rather heralds a new era of innovation where collaboration, real-time analytics, and agility are at the forefront of their operations.

By utilizing RISE with SAP on a private cloud, OQ gains the flexibility to scale seamlessly, reduce infrastructure costs, and minimize system downtime. This end-to-end cloud offering provides faster implementation cycles, automated updates, and real-time data insights that are critical for agile decision-making and resource optimization. Moreover, by integrating mission-critical functions into a secure platform, OQ can respond swiftly to market demands at an unprecedented scale. This move demonstrates OQ’s commitment to setting new benchmarks of excellence within the organization and the region as a whole.

OQ’s longstanding partnership with SAP has seen multiple successful implementations, including SAP Success Factors, SAP Concur, and SAP Integrated Business Planning. This partnership showcases OQ’s dedication to comprehensive digital transformation. Sergio Maccotta, Senior Vice President of SAP Middle East and Africa – South, commended OQ on their successful deployment of RISE with SAP in a private cloud, highlighting their leadership in digital transformation and their role in advancing Oman’s economic ambitions. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and actionable insights, OQ is not only enhancing operational efficiency but also actively shaping an innovation-led future for the country.

The launch of the e-Symphony project further demonstrates OQ’s unwavering commitment to digital transformation and operational excellence. With a new cloud-based ERP at the core of their business processes, OQ is well-equipped to meet evolving market demands, empower stakeholders with actionable insights, and drive sustainable growth into the future. This milestone underscores how forward-thinking organizations can drive sustainable growth, enhance Oman’s competitiveness on a global stage, and contribute to the realization of the nation’s strategic vision.

Overall, the official launch of e-Symphony and the implementation of RISE with SAP on a private cloud highlight OQ’s dedication to innovation and excellence. By embracing cloud technology, OQ is not only enhancing operational efficiency but also positioning itself as a leader in digital transformation within the region. This milestone sets a precedent for how organizations can leverage technology to drive sustainable growth, shape the future, and contribute to the economic development of their nation. With a strong partnership with SAP and a commitment to setting new benchmarks of excellence, OQ is poised for continued success in the rapidly evolving energy sector.
