Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally reached a settlement in their divorce after eight years of legal battles. Jolie’s attorney confirmed the news, stating that Jolie is focused on finding peace and healing for their family. The details of the settlement are not immediately available, but this marks a turning point in the lengthy legal process that began in 2016 when Jolie filed for divorce.

The divorce proceedings were initiated by Jolie a few days after an incident on a flight where she alleged that Pitt had “choked” one of their children and hit another. Since then, the former couple has been locked in a bitter court battle, particularly over custody of their six children, three of whom are adopted. Despite reaching a custody arrangement in 2018, the situation seems to have since unraveled, leading to further legal disputes between Pitt and Jolie.

In addition to custody issues, Pitt and Jolie have also been embroiled in a separate legal battle over the ownership of a luxury French property they purchased together. Pitt has accused Jolie of breaching his rights when she sold her share of the property to a subsidiary of Stoli Group, owned by a Russian-born billionaire. Pitt claims that Jolie sought to harm him with the sale by invoking alleged connections between the firm’s owner and Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, it is important to note that the Stoli Group is based in Latvia and the owner has been a critic of Putin.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first met on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” in 2005, where they played married assassins. At the time, Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston. Since then, their relationship has been highly publicized, leading to their eventual marriage and subsequent divorce. The settlement of the divorce marks a significant milestone for the former power couple as they seek to move forward and find closure after years of legal battles and disputes.

Overall, the settlement of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce marks the end of an era in their tumultuous relationship. While details of the settlement are not immediately available, the resolution of this legal saga is a step towards finding peace and healing for their family. Despite the challenges they have faced in court battles over custody and property ownership, Pitt and Jolie are now able to move forward and focus on the well-being of their six children. As one chapter closes, a new beginning awaits for both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as they navigate life post-divorce.
