Saudi Arabia has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people by delivering the third instalment of financial support for the year 2024. This instalment amounted to $10 million, bringing the total monthly financial support provided to Palestine to $30 million. The ceremony was held in Amman, where Naif Al-Sudairi, the Saudi ambassador to Jordan, non-resident ambassador to Palestine, and consul general in Jerusalem, delivered the aid to Palestinian Minister of Finance Omar Bitar. Bitar praised the Kingdom’s historical position towards Palestine and expressed gratitude for the continuous support.

The aid provided by Saudi Arabia is essential in alleviating the financial crisis that the State of Palestine is facing due to Israeli policies. The Kingdom has been a longstanding supporter of the Palestinian cause, providing humanitarian, relief, and development aid amounting to about $5.3 billion over the years. This financial support is crucial in enhancing the steadfastness of the Palestinians and helping them overcome economic and humanitarian challenges. The aid is allocated to support vital sectors such as health and education, including hospitals, drug suppliers, and educational institutions.

The Saudi ambassador, Al-Sudairi, reiterated the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to supporting the rights of the Palestinian people. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia will continue to stand by Palestine and provide the necessary assistance to help improve the lives of Palestinians. The Kingdom’s support extends beyond financial aid, with a focus on humanitarian and development projects aimed at contributing to the development and well-being of the Palestinian people.

The support provided by Saudi Arabia reflects the Kingdom’s dedication to the Palestinian cause and its efforts to help establish an independent Palestinian state. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Dr. Muhammad Mustafa conveyed their gratitude to the Kingdom and its leadership for their consistent support. The financial aid from Saudi Arabia plays a significant role in supporting Palestine’s legitimate rights and aspirations for statehood, contributing to the overall stability and prosperity of the region.

The financial support from Saudi Arabia is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to the Palestinian people and their struggle for self-determination. The aid provided is a testament to Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Palestine and its efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian population. By delivering this aid, Saudi Arabia reaffirms its position as a key supporter of the Palestinian cause and a partner in building a brighter future for the Palestinian people.

In conclusion, the financial support delivered by Saudi Arabia to Palestine is a crucial lifeline for the Palestinian people in their ongoing struggle for independence and statehood. The Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Palestine’s legitimate rights and aspirations remains steadfast, as demonstrated by the continuous aid provided to alleviate the economic and humanitarian challenges faced by the Palestinian population. Saudi Arabia’s support is essential in promoting stability and prosperity in the region and is a testament to the Kingdom’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
