The FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024 is set to take place in Doha, Qatar in December, bringing together champions from four confederations to compete for the grand title. The tournament marks the debut of an annual club football event organized by FIFA and will feature top clubs such as Real Madrid, Al Ahly, FC Pachuca, and the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores winner. Fans can expect to witness world-class football action as these teams battle it out on the pitch.

Real Madrid CF, as the reigning UEFA Champions League champion, is considered a top favorite to win the tournament. With a record number of continental titles under their belt, the team boasts an impressive lineup of football superstars. Al Ahly FC from Egypt, a dominant force in African football, will also be a strong contender with their loyal fan base and 12 CAF Champions League titles. FC Pachuca from Mexico, representing CONCACAF, is another team to watch, given their rich history of success.

The tournament will kick off with the first round on December 11, 2024, featuring Pachuca from CONCACAF against the Copa Libertadores winner from CONMEBOL. The matches will take place at Stadium 974, providing fans with the opportunity to witness the action live. The play-off round on December 14, 2024, will see Al Ahly face the winner of the first round, with both matches taking place at Stadium 974. The final match is scheduled for December 18, 2024, at Lusail Stadium, where the UEFA Champions League winner Real Madrid will compete against the play-off winner.

Ticket prices for the FIFA Intercontinental Cup are expected to start at QR 40 for the first two matches and QR 200 for the final. Approximately 170,000 tickets will be available for sale across the three games, with spectators allowed to purchase up to six tickets per person. Tickets for the final three matches will go on sale from November 21, 2024, with Visa cardholders having access to a pre-sale period starting November 14, 2024. Football fans worldwide are invited to witness these thrilling games in Qatar this December and secure their tickets to experience the excitement firsthand.
