The Amiri Decision No. (70) of 2024 issued by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has formed the Board of Directors of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in Doha, Qatar. The Board will be chaired by the Prime Minister, with the President of the Qatar Olympic Committee serving as Vice-Chairman. Other members include key government officials such as the Minister of Interior, Minister of Finance, Minister of Culture, and Minister of Sports and Youth. Hassan bin Abdullah Al Thawadi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism, Engineer Yasser Abdullah Al Jamal, and the Executive Director of the Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences are also part of the Board. Additionally, three members with experience in the Committee’s competencies will be chosen by the Chairman to join the Board.
The Chairman of the Board has the authority to include representatives of other parties who are concerned with the Committee’s work. The decision has come into effect immediately upon issue and will be published in the official gazette.
