His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, recently met with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Khalid A. Al Faisal Al Saud, Chairman of STC Group, at Gudaibiya Palace. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing its economic and developmental sectors under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the crucial role of the communications and information technology (ICT) sector in boosting Bahrain’s global competitiveness and sustainability, emphasizing its importance as a key driver of growth in various economic areas.

The meeting also showcased the strong partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, with HRH the Crown Prince emphasizing the importance of deepening collaboration across various fields. Specifically, he highlighted the significance of expanding cooperation in the ICT sector, which plays a crucial role in the advancement of both Kingdoms. Discussions during the meeting focused on STC Group’s development plans and current and upcoming programs, with HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Khalid sharing insights on the latest trends in the ICT sector, both regionally and internationally.

Prince Mohammed bin Khalid expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, commending his efforts in advancing Bahrain’s telecommunications and ICT sectors. He also conveyed his best wishes for the continued success and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki.

This high-level engagement between Bahrain and STC Group is poised to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a leader in ICT development and digital transformation in the region. The collaboration between Bahrain and STC Group is crucial for driving innovation and growth in the ICT sector, allowing both Kingdoms to leverage each other’s strengths and resources for mutual benefit.
