IKEA Alsulaiman has recently opened its new store in Madinah, marking a significant milestone in the sustainable expansion journey of Alsulaiman Group within the Kingdom. The opening ceremony was attended by various distinguished guests, including Dr. Ghassan Alsulaiman, Saud Alsulaiman, and representatives from government and private sectors. Situated on Qassim Road near the Haramain High-Speed Rail station, the new store spans over 18,000 square meters, making it an easily accessible destination for IKEA customers in Madinah. With this launch, the total number of IKEA customer meeting points in Saudi Arabia has now reached 11, strengthening IKEA Alsulaiman’s presence in the market.

The new IKEA store in Madinah features three floors, housing a main showroom, market hall, self-service area, restaurant, and a play area for children “Småland”. With over 350 parking spaces available, customers can enjoy a one-stop shopping experience with more than 7,000 home furnishing products including furniture, accessories, and more. Saud Alsulaiman, CEO of Alsulaiman Group, expressed the company’s commitment to delivering a world-class shopping experience while contributing to the local economy by creating jobs and promoting sustainable development. The opening of the Madinah store is a key milestone in the group’s ambitious expansion strategy across the Kingdom.

Samer Sayegh, CEO of IKEA Alsulaiman, highlighted the company’s dedication to providing an innovative and modern shopping experience with a focus on sustainability and quality. The store aims to offer high-quality products at competitive prices in a comfortable, inclusive environment suitable for all family members. The project was developed by Ehteraf Real Estate Development, a subsidiary of Alsulaiman Group, serving as a model for sustainability with advanced eco-friendly solutions such as solar power, energy-efficient LED lighting, water recycling, and gray water treatment facilities. The innovative facade design minimizes heat loss and reduces the impact of temperature fluctuations within the store, showcasing a commitment to environmental conservation.

In addition to providing home furnishing solutions, the new IKEA store in Madinah also plays a significant role in supporting the local economy by creating over 1,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, with a Saudization rate exceeding 70%. This aligns with Alsulaiman Group’s vision to contribute to the development of Madinah and enhance the quality of services available to residents and visitors. The company’s CEO, Saud Alsulaiman, emphasized the pride in playing a role in the economic growth of Madinah and delivering a world-class shopping experience that meets customer expectations.
