In Doha, Qatar, Qatar Museums recently announced that all of its institutions, including museums, galleries, restaurants, and shops, will remain open during the official holidays declared by the Amiri Diwan. This decision allows residents and visitors to take advantage of their time off and explore Qatar’s vibrant cultural offerings at regular operating hours. Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the newly launched exhibitions and permanent collections across museums, showcasing inspiring artworks, historical collections, and dynamic installations designed to engage audiences of all ages and interests.

The exhibitions presented as part of the Qatar Creates Fall/Winter 2024-25 season offer a unique way for families and friends to spend quality time together and create memorable experiences throughout the holiday. The diverse range of dining and shopping options available at these institutions further enhance the visitor experience. However, it is important to note that the Museum of Islamic Art will remain closed on Wednesdays. The operating hours of various museums, including the National Museum of Qatar, Museum of Islamic Art, 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, and Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, are outlined to help visitors plan their visit accordingly.

The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) is open from Sunday to Saturday with varying opening hours each day, including late closing hours on Thursdays and Fridays. The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) operates from Sunday to Saturday, also with extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays. The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM) and Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art have similar operating schedules, with closures on Tuesdays and Mondays respectively.
