In Doha, Qatar, the Amiri Diwan has officially declared holidays to celebrate the national unity demonstration that took place in the State of Qatar. This announcement includes employees and students of both public and private schools. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) shared this news on social media, informing the public about the upcoming days off.

The holidays are scheduled to take place on Wednesday and Thursday, November 6 and 7, 2024. Following these days off, employees are expected to resume their work on Sunday, November 10, 2024. This decision was made in recognition of the significant events that have taken place in the State of Qatar, specifically the general referendum on the draft constitutional amendments to the Permanent Constitution of the State of Qatar.

The national unity of Qatar has been a key focus for the government, and the decision to declare these official holidays reflects the importance of celebrating this unity. This announcement is a way to honor the achievements and progress made in the State of Qatar, as well as to give employees and students the opportunity to participate in activities that celebrate national unity and solidarity.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) played a crucial role in sharing this news with the public through social media, ensuring that employees and students are aware of the upcoming holidays. By providing this information in advance, the MoEHE is helping individuals and organizations to plan accordingly and make the most of their time off.

Overall, the official holidays announced by the Amiri Diwan are a way to recognize and celebrate the national unity of the State of Qatar. By giving employees and students time off to participate in activities that commemorate this unity, the government is reinforcing the importance of coming together as a nation. This decision reflects the values and principles of Qatar and serves as a reminder of the progress and achievements that have been made in the country.
