Algerian President Receives Official Reception at Al Alam Palace

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria was warmly welcomed during his state visit to Oman by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The visit began with an official welcome at Al Alam Palace courtyard, where the national anthem of Algeria was played and a 21-gun salute was given in honor of the guest President. His Majesty the Sultan greeted the official delegation accompanying President Tebboune, wishing them a successful visit and pleasant stay. President Tebboune also greeted members of the Royal Family, Chairmen of the State Council and Shura Council, ministers, commanders of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, and the Royal Oman Police before proceeding to the hall for coffee with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

During the state visit, President Tebboune and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik discussed various issues of mutual interest and cooperation between Algeria and Oman. The two leaders expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in areas such as trade, investment, culture, and security. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern. The state visit was an opportunity for both countries to reaffirm their friendship and commitment to working together for the benefit of their peoples.
