Milipol Qatar, a premier event for homeland security and civil defense, is set to take place in Doha from October 29 to 31. This gathering highlights the strong partnership between France and Qatar, bringing together industry leaders, government officials, and security agencies to showcase the latest innovations in the security sector. The event will feature the France Pavilion, the largest foreign delegation, with 24 companies showcasing advancements in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and counter-terrorism technologies.

The Minister Delegate for Everyday Security, Nicolas Daragon, will lead the French delegation attending Milipol-Qatar, demonstrating the importance of the strategic partnership between France and Qatar in the field of internal security. The event comes on the heels of the successful cooperation between French and Qatari security forces during the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games. Exhibitors at the France Pavilion will present cutting-edge solutions such as quantum computing, tactical equipment, and integrated surveillance systems, highlighting France’s commitment to excellence in security and defense.

The security relationship between France and Qatar has gained momentum, with H H the Amir’s state visit to France last February and the signing of new agreements. French-Qatari cooperation to secure the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games was a significant milestone in their partnership. The presence of French companies at Milipol Qatar underscores the strength and depth of the relationship between France and Qatar, as well as their shared commitment to advancing security and innovation.

Milipol Qatar offers a unique opportunity for visibility among decision-makers and business development in the growing security market. The French security sector is thriving, with over 1,100 companies employing 125,000 people and generating 50% of revenue from exports. The French Pavilion at Milipol Qatar is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Seine-et-Marne in collaboration with Business France, showcasing the brand “Choose France” and aiming to expand influence in military, law enforcement, and industrial sectors through local partnerships.
