Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir, attended the inauguration ceremony of Prabowo Subianto as the new president of Indonesia in Jakarta on Sunday. Representing Saudi Arabia at the event, Al-Jubeir conveyed greetings from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to President Subianto, expressing their wishes for continued growth and prosperity for Indonesia. Al-Jubeir also delivered a written message from King Salman to the Indonesian president at the ceremony.

Prabowo Subianto, a former general, was sworn in as the eighth president of Indonesia, taking over from Joko Widodo.
