Cyrine Cherif, a talented French rider based in Doha, Qatar, showcased her skills at the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour by guiding her mare, Van Gallettana Z, to back-to-back flawless performances. Cherif dominated the 145 cm class, winning the competition with an error-free jump-off and a remarkable time of 42.98 seconds. This victory marked Cherif’s second win of the season, solidifying her position at the top of the Big Tour points table. She received a prize of QR28,000 for her exceptional performance.

In the same competition, Sheikh Khalifa Al Thani came in second, riding his nine-year-old stallion, Emiro Delle Sementarecce. Despite clocking a faster time than Cherif in the jump-off, Sheikh Khalifa incurred eight faults, ultimately landing him in second place. For his efforts, Sheikh Khalifa earned QR23,000 in prize money. Ghanim Nasser Al Qadi claimed the third spot, riding Morocco and earning QR17,500 after missing out on the jump-off due to four penalty points.

In the Open Class event, Jaber Rashid Al Amri and his stallion, Canavaro De Muze (E.T.), emerged victorious with a time of 51.13 seconds despite making three errors. Ghanim Nasser Al Qadi and Hamad Towaim Al Marri tied for second place, both clocking in at 51.27 seconds. Al Qadi rode Chanel D’Altenbach, while Al Marri delivered a flawless routine with Baron Z H to secure their spots on the podium.

The Dressage competitions also saw talented riders excelling at different levels. Jassim Mohammed Al Fahd Al Kuwari claimed the top spot in the Dressage Medium Level 1 event, with Jassim Al Jaham Al Kuwari and Jessica Waldon following closely behind. Abdulla Khalid Al Julandani emerged victorious in the Dressage Preliminary Level 2, with Jassim Mohammed Al Fahd Al Kuwari in second place and Hamyan Khalifa Al Kowari finishing in third.

Overall, the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour provided a platform for riders to showcase their equestrian skills and compete at a high level. Cyrine Cherif’s impressive performance, along with other talented riders, highlighted the dedication and passion within the equestrian community in Qatar. With exciting competitions and top-notch performances, the event continues to attract riders and enthusiasts from around the world, cementing its status as a prestigious equestrian competition in the region.
