Amir meets the Prime Minister of Greece

The meeting between Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic HE Kyriakos Mitsotakis focused on enhancing the existing relations between Qatar and Greece. They discussed ways to further develop bilateral cooperation in various fields and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest. The summit also addressed the most prominent topics on the agenda, with a particular emphasis on the developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Lebanon.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the first summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union in Brussels. The leaders discussed the importance of strengthening ties between Qatar and Greece and exploring new opportunities for collaboration. The gathering provided an opportunity for both countries to reaffirm their commitment to working together on key regional and global challenges.

The Qatari delegation included Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Minister of State for Energy Affairs HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, and other high-ranking officials. On the Greek side, several senior officials were also present at the meeting.

The discussions between HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Qatar and Greece and explored opportunities for cooperation in various sectors. Both leaders expressed their commitment to working together on regional and international issues of common concern. The meeting provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration between the two countries.
