The AI Digital Centre, located in the National Museum of Qatar, has partnered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Social Development and Family to launch the Gazan Students Robotics and Technology Project. This project is aimed at introducing Gazan students aged 13 to 17 to the world of technology and robotics within the context of the Arab world. By providing hands-on learning experiences, the project aims to equip the next generation with essential STEM skills such as problem solving, computational thinking, and engineering.

The Director of the National Museum of Qatar, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Thani, emphasized the importance of inspiring a generation of thinkers and doers who will use technology to make meaningful contributions to society while staying connected to their cultural roots. The goal is to ensure that as these students innovate and grow, they remain grounded in their identity and draw strength from their culture to lead with purpose in an increasingly digital world. The National Museum of Qatar is proud to host such initiatives and hopes to inspire the next generation of technologically savvy individuals.

Although the project was initially intended for Gazan students, it has garnered interest from the wider community. Volunteers from universities and industry professionals have joined the effort, working alongside the teenagers to create a collaborative and supportive environment for technological exploration. Ibrahim Qidwai, a volunteer from the University of Doha for Science and Technology, highlighted the importance of recognizing robotics as a key element in future development and global harmony. Working with Gazan youth has been a rewarding learning experience for him, and he looks forward to continuing to learn from them.

The AI Digital Centre encourages the public to engage in a variety of activities including community outreach, volunteering efforts, and innovative technology development projects. By involving the community in these initiatives, the Centre is taking a step towards shaping the next generation of confident, resilient, and lifelong learners who are prepared to lead in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This project not only provides students with valuable skills but also fosters a sense of collaboration and innovation in the community.

As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, it is crucial for young people to be equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in a digital world. The Gazan Students Robotics and Technology Project serves as a platform for students to explore their creativity, learn problem-solving skills, and become familiar with cutting-edge technologies. By providing these opportunities for hands-on learning, the project is empowering students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and adapt to the ever-changing technological landscape.

In conclusion, the Gazan Students Robotics and Technology Project is a commendable initiative that is not only equipping young people with essential STEM skills but also fostering a sense of innovation and collaboration within the community. By involving volunteers from universities and industry professionals, the project is creating a supportive environment for students to explore the world of technology and robotics. This project is a testament to the power of technology in shaping the future generation and inspiring them to make meaningful contributions to society.
