DHL, in partnership with leading organizations in Qatar such as Microsoft, Commercial Bank Qatar, Vodafone, and others, has launched an initiative called DHL4SMEs to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country. The goal of the initiative is to provide practical advice to SMEs through webinars, podcasts, and open days to help them overcome their most pressing challenges. DHL4SMEs focuses on areas such as logistics, technology, legal and regulatory compliance, marketing and branding, insurance, finance, work culture, and digital transformation.

During the launch ceremony, Ahmed Elfangary, Country Manager of DHL Express Qatar, emphasized the importance of supporting SMEs in driving the economy forward. He stated that through the DHL4SMEs program, SMEs will be provided with the knowledge, expertise, and resources they need to thrive in today’s competitive business landscape. The initiative aims to foster growth and innovation among SMEs to help them unlock their full potential. It offers comprehensive support by creating a network where SMEs can get guidance to unlock growth opportunities.

CEO and Co-Founder of Soutien Group, Steve Mackie, highlighted the rise in entrepreneurship and the challenges faced by SMEs. He explained that DHL4SMEs was created to address these challenges by providing SMEs with tools, support, and expertise to thrive. The program aims to build a community where entrepreneurs can access subject matter experts in areas such as logistics, technology, finance, and legal guidance. Mackie emphasized the importance of knowledge-sharing, access to industry experts, and a supportive community to help businesses grow.

The DHL4SMEs initiative offers SMEs in Qatar the tools, knowledge, and network necessary to not only survive but thrive in a rapidly changing market. The program is open to all SMEs in the country, with a focus on helping them address their most critical areas for success. By providing practical and actionable advice, DHL, in collaboration with its partners, aims to empower SMEs to overcome challenges and achieve growth in their businesses. Through webinars, podcasts, and open days, SMEs will be equipped with insights to navigate their businesses effectively and apply solution-driven approaches immediately.
