Vehicle ownership will now be issued directly from the car dealership, and the authority is testing the activation of digital transfer of certificates in Abu Dhabi.
Furthermore, the authority has eliminated the mandatory printing and delivery of driving and car ownership licenses, opting for electronic versions instead. A single system has been introduced to transfer vehicle ownership digitally, making the process more convenient for residents.
