Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – Kezad Group, in collaboration with Azizi Developments, has signed a 50-year land lease agreement to establish 12 state-of-the-art factories in Kezad A. With a Dh1 billion investment by Azizi Developments, the project will include a reinforcement steel cut and bend facility, timber joinery workshops, and more. The facilities will span 220,000 square meters and will focus on advanced infrastructure to meet the demands of the housing industry in the region.
Modular construction using sustainable materials like aluminium is a forward-thinking approach to building energy-efficient homes and aligns with Kezad’s sustainable business practices. The proposed facilities aim to speed up the production of materials required for the housing sector in Abu Dhabi using cost-effective, faster, and greener methods. Mirwais Azizi, Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, expressed delight in setting up new facilities in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi’s Al Ma’mourah, outlining plans to establish 12 factories with a combined value close to Dh 1 billion.
