The Bahraini Embassy in Damascus is closely monitoring the situation of Bahraini citizens residing in Lebanon, according to His Excellency Ambassador Waheed Mubarak Sayyar. The embassy is in constant communication with the small number of Bahrainis currently in Lebanon and the travel advisory issued in October 2023 remains in effect, advising Bahraini citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon and encouraging those already in the country to depart. Ambassador Sayyar emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to advise against traveling to Lebanon and urges citizens to contact the embassy in Damascus for assistance as needed. On the other hand, the situation in Syria is considered safe, with no travel advisories currently in place.

Ambassador Sayyar noted that many Bahraini visitors regularly travel to Damascus, particularly for organized religious pilgrimages, and that the embassy actively monitors their well-being. He emphasized that Bahraini citizens in both Syria and Lebanon should contact the Bahraini Embassy in Damascus for any assistance they may require. The embassy is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of Bahraini citizens in both countries and is ready to provide any necessary support. By maintaining close communication with Bahraini visitors and staying updated on the situation in both Lebanon and Syria, the embassy aims to ensure the safety and security of its citizens in the region.

In light of the ongoing travel advisory for Lebanon, the Bahraini Embassy in Damascus continues to monitor the situation closely and provide support to Bahraini citizens in the country. Ambassador Sayyar reiterated the importance of following the travel advisory and contacting the embassy for assistance, if needed. Bahraini citizens are advised to prioritize their safety and security by staying informed about the situation in Lebanon and following the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The embassy stands ready to assist citizens in any way possible and is dedicated to ensuring their well-being while they are in Lebanon.

The Bahraini Embassy in Damascus plays a crucial role in supporting Bahraini citizens in both Lebanon and Syria by providing assistance and guidance as needed. Ambassador Sayyar reassured Bahraini citizens that the embassy is fully committed to their safety and well-being and encouraged them to reach out for support if they require any assistance while in either country. By maintaining open communication with Bahraini visitors and actively monitoring their welfare, the embassy can better respond to any challenges or issues that may arise. Bahraini citizens can feel confident that the embassy is there to provide them with the necessary support and assistance during their stay in Lebanon and Syria.

Overall, the Bahraini Embassy in Damascus remains actively engaged in monitoring the situation of Bahraini citizens in Lebanon and Syria, ensuring that they have access to the necessary support and assistance. Ambassador Sayyar’s reassurance that the situation in Syria is safe and that the embassy is ready to assist Bahraini citizens in both countries highlights the embassy’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens. By following the travel advisory and staying in contact with the embassy, Bahraini citizens can help ensure their own safety while traveling in Lebanon and Syria. The embassy’s continued monitoring and support provide a valuable resource for Bahraini citizens who may require assistance during their time in the region.
