On Monday, September 30, some parts of the UAE experienced light rains and heavy drizzles, as seen in videos posted by the Storm Centre. The National Centre of Meteorology issued an orange alert for convective clouds formation associated with rainfall, lasting until 9pm on that day. Earlier in the day, scattered rains were also reported in some areas on the eastern coast, with the weather department predicting rain in internal and southern parts of the country.

While it rained in some areas, the overall weather is expected to be partially cloudy with a slight drop in temperatures. Residents woke up to heavy rains and strong winds on Sunday, following an earlier forecast predicting rainfall until September 30. On Monday, winds are expected to be light to moderate, sometimes turning active to strong with speeds of up to 45kmph. Wave heights in the Arabian Gulf will be light to moderate, while in the Sea of Oman, they will be moderate to light.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 40℃ in Abu Dhabi and 39℃ in Dubai, with humidity levels ranging between 15% to 80%. It is important for residents to remain vigilant during these weather conditions, especially with the potential for strong winds and heavy rains affecting various parts of the country.

As the rainy season approaches, it is crucial for residents to take necessary precautions and stay informed about weather updates. With unpredictable weather patterns becoming increasingly common, being prepared for any eventuality is essential. The UAE is known for its rapidly changing weather conditions, with periods of intense heat being followed by sudden downpours and strong winds.

In times of adverse weather, it is important to stay indoors, avoid unnecessary travel, and ensure that all outdoor furniture and items are securely fastened. It is also advisable to stock up on essential supplies in case of power outages or disruptions in normal services. By staying informed and following safety guidelines, residents can minimize the impact of severe weather events and protect themselves and their property. Stay safe and stay prepared during the changing weather conditions in the UAE.
