Spanish rising star Carlos Alcaraz made headlines at the China Open in Beijing as he advanced to the quarter-finals in dominating fashion, defeating Tallon Griekspoor in just 56 minutes. US Open runner-up Jessica Pegula faced a tough challenge against Veronika Kudermetova but managed to come out on top, setting up a highly anticipated match against Spain’s Paula Badosa. With the top women’s seed Aryna Sabalenka leading the pack in Beijing, the competition is heating up as players like Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek showcase their skills on the courts.
