Saudi Arabia has spoken out against Israel’s violations of international laws at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, condemned Israel’s recent actions in Gaza and highlighted the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people. The lack of accountability for Israel’s actions has only emboldened them to continue their aggression, leading to a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The Kingdom has called for immediate action to end the suffering of Palestinians and has reiterated its commitment to the two-state solution for lasting peace in the region.

Prince Faisal underscored Saudi Arabia’s refusal to accept the harsh reality of the situation in Gaza and emphasized the need for the international community to take action. The Kingdom had previously convened an emergency summit to address the crisis and has launched an International Alliance to Implement the Two-State Solution. This alliance aims to create a credible and irreversible path to peace in the region. The recent recognition of Palestine as a full member of the UN by the General Assembly and several countries has been praised by Saudi Arabia, as well as their ongoing financial support for Palestinian refugees.

Saudi Arabia has provided over $5 billion in aid to the Palestinian people, with a significant portion dedicated to the crisis in Gaza. The Kingdom has stressed the importance of supporting Palestinian refugees and working towards a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue based on international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative. Prince Faisal called for practical steps to be taken to enable Palestinians to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

In addition to addressing the Palestinian issue, Saudi Arabia has also highlighted the need for international efforts to stabilize Lebanon and protect its sovereignty. The Kingdom has emphasized the importance of a diplomatic resolution to the ongoing conflicts in the region to ensure peace and security for all. The speech delivered by Prince Faisal at the UN General Assembly serves as a reminder of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the rights of Palestinians and promoting peace in the Middle East.

Overall, Saudi Arabia’s stance on Israel’s violations of international laws and their support for the Palestinian people is clear. The Kingdom has called for accountability for Israel’s actions, immediate action to end the suffering in Gaza, and a commitment to the two-state solution for peace in the region. By providing financial support to Palestinian refugees and advocating for international recognition of Palestine, Saudi Arabia is working towards a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue. The Kingdom’s efforts to stabilize Lebanon and resolve conflicts in the region demonstrate their dedication to promoting peace and security in the Middle East.
