UAE residents woke up to another foggy morning on Saturday, with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicting rain in some parts of the country. Red and yellow alerts were raised for fog in specific areas until 9:30 am. This marks the fourth day in a row that the NCM has issued fog alerts early in the morning, as the weather transitions into autumn. Visibility is expected to deteriorate, especially in coastal and internal areas, with a possible drop in horizontal visibility. Residents are urged to stay updated with the latest news by following KT on WhatsApp Channels.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 40 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and 37 degrees Celsius in Dubai. Winds are forecasted to be light to moderate, with occasional active spells reaching speeds of 45kmph. Waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to be light. The generally clear to partially cloudy weather is prevalent across the country, with rain possible in some areas. These weather conditions are in line with the seasonal transition towards autumn, bringing foggy mornings and potential rain showers to the region.

The NCM’s warning of reduced visibility due to fog highlights the need for caution while driving, especially during the morning hours. Motorists are advised to use low-beam headlights, increase their following distance, and avoid sudden braking to ensure a safe commute. With fog alerts persisting over the past few days, residents are encouraged to stay informed about weather updates and plan their activities accordingly. The transition into autumn typically brings varying weather patterns, including fog, rain, and temperature fluctuations, necessitating vigilance and preparedness.

As temperatures remain high in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, residents are reminded to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours. Light clothing, hats, and sunscreen are recommended to protect against the intense heat. While winds are expected to be generally light to moderate, occasional gusts may occur, requiring secure outdoor furniture and caution during outdoor activities. The light waves in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman offer favorable conditions for beachgoers, with calm waters beckoning swimmers and water sports enthusiasts.

In conclusion, the UAE’s weather forecast for the day includes fog alerts, potential rain showers, and high temperatures in certain regions. Residents are advised to stay updated on weather warnings and take precautions while driving or engaging in outdoor activities. The transition to autumn brings about varying weather conditions, necessitating adaptability and awareness. As the day progresses, individuals can enjoy the pleasant weather conditions while remaining mindful of safety measures and sun protection. Embracing the changing seasons and staying informed about weather updates can help residents make the most of their day while prioritizing their well-being.
