In a groundbreaking announcement, Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), revealed that Riyadh Season will be sponsoring Al Hilal’s new channel on the global platform DAZN. This partnership is aimed at expanding the club’s international media presence and providing a unique experience for Al Hilal fans around the world. Alalshikh highlighted that the channel will feature exclusive programs, interviews, daily reports on training sessions, behind-the-scenes access to players’ locker rooms, select friendly matches, and Riyadh Season-sponsored programs showcasing top stars from around the globe. The channel will be available in 200 countries through DAZN, generating significant revenue for Al Hilal through commercial advertising and direct contracts.

Al Hilal is not the only Saudi club to benefit from this collaboration, as discussions are underway with Al Nassr Club for a potential partnership, including a match against an international team. Alalshikh emphasized that this partnership will not only benefit Al Hilal’s global fanbase but also Saudi citizens abroad and the Saudi league as a whole. With many stars in Al Hilal and the league, the channel is expected to attract international audiences, potentially reaching up to two million subscribers. Alalshikh encouraged other Saudi clubs to consider similar ventures through Riyadh Season, highlighting the success that can be achieved in expanding their reach through specialized international channels.

The partnership between Al Hilal and DAZN was formalized in London, with Al Hilal being represented by Chairman Fahad bin Nafel and DAZN being represented by Kacy Grine, President of DAZN for the Middle East and North Africa. The channel will offer an enhanced experience for Al Hilal fans globally, with live match broadcasts, interviews with players and coaching staff, behind-the-scenes footage from training sessions and matchdays, and special reports focusing on the club’s history, achievements, and future ambitions. Kacy Grine expressed pride in working with one of the world’s most prominent clubs, Al Hilal, and emphasized the importance of sharing the club’s inspiring story as they continue to make history.

The channel is set to launch by the end of the year, providing fans with live broadcasts of Al Hilal’s matches and various exclusive programs to keep them updated on the club’s latest developments in the Saudi Pro League. This partnership represents a significant opportunity for Al Hilal to expand its reach and connect with fans on a global scale, showcasing the club’s success, history, and ambitions to a wider audience. Through Riyadh Season’s sponsorship and DAZN’s global platform, Al Hilal is poised to reach new heights in international media coverage and fan engagement. With the potential for collaboration with other Saudi clubs on the horizon, this partnership sets a precedent for further expansion and success in the world of sports broadcasting and international outreach.
