Shiv Kapur, a Dubai resident and seasoned professional golfer, is gearing up for a strong finish to his 2024 season as he participates in the $1 million Yeangder TPC in Chinese Taipei. As a recipient of the Dubai Golden Visa, Kapur has had a busy year on the Asian Tour and is hoping to end it on a high note. Recently, he reunited with his long-time coach Shane Gillespie at the Thai Country Club for an intensive training session before heading to Taipei. With years of experience and a strong determination, Kapur is ready to bring his A-game to the course and add another highlight to his illustrious career.

Shiv Kapur expressed his satisfaction with the work he has done with his coach Shane since 2016. He mentioned the need for a mid-season ‘all-round service check’ to his game before embarking on seven Asian Tour events until the end of the year. After taking a break during the summer to focus on fitness and spend time with family, Kapur is fully energized and ready to focus on his golf for the coming weeks. He is returning to familiar grounds as he aims to replicate his past successes at the Thai Country Club, where he previously won the Volvo Masters of Asia in 2005.

Currently ranked 92nd in the Asian Tour’s Order of Merit, Shiv Kapur is eager to make a significant move up the rankings through his upcoming performances. With seven international professional victories under his belt, including the 2013 Dubai Festival City Challenge Tour Grand Final, Kapur is no stranger to success on the course. The upcoming tournament in Chinese Taipei will see him compete against notable players like John Catlin (USA) and Gaganjeet Bhullar (Ind), alongside a strong contingent of elite Asian Tour players and local Taipei competitors.

Kapur’s upcoming schedule includes events in Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Hong Kong, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia throughout September, October, November, and December 2024. With a series of tournaments lined up, Kapur is focused on delivering top-notch performances and showcasing his skills on the course. As he embarks on this journey, he remains committed to bringing his best game forward and making his mark in the world of professional golf. The support of his coach, family, and fans will play a crucial role in motivating him to achieve success in the upcoming events.

In conclusion, Shiv Kapur’s participation in the Yeangder TPC in Chinese Taipei signifies his dedication to the sport and his desire to end the 2024 season on a strong note. With a successful track record and a resilient mindset, Kapur is well-equipped to tackle the challenges ahead and aim for victory in the upcoming tournaments. His commitment to constant improvement and focus on his game sets him apart as a formidable competitor in the world of professional golf. As he prepares to tee off in Chinese Taipei, Kapur’s supporters eagerly anticipate his performances and cheer him on for a successful season ahead.
