Mohammed Albakri’s exceptional goalkeeping also played a significant role in the win for Al Wakrah. This victory helped them climb to fifth in the league standings with superior goal difference.
During the same matchday, Youssef Msakani rescued Al Arabi with a last-gasp goal to secure a 3-3 draw against Al Ahli. Despite the thrilling comeback, Al Arabi remains winless in the league, currently sitting at ninth place with four points. Al Gharafa, on the other hand, recorded a 3-1 victory over Qatar SC, with goals from Ahmed Al Ganehi, Yacine Brahimi, and Joselu. This win propelled Al Gharafa to fourth place in the league standings with eight points.

However, it was Youssef Msakani’s last-minute goal that salvaged a point for Al Arabi. This victory lifted Al Gharafa to fourth place in the league standings with eight points, while Qatar SC languishes in 11th place, just above bottom-placed Al Shahania.
