Tender board invites bids for security guards, water services and additional services.

The Bahrain Tender Board has recently opened 18 tenders and one auction, receiving a total of 100 bids. Notable projects include security services for schools, the central market master plan, and a new access point to the express cargo village. The Ministry of Education sought bids for security guards to protect schools and facilities with the lowest offer reaching BD 4.9 million. The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) also opened a tender for outsourcing maintenance centers for the water distribution department. Meanwhile, the Dana Theatre auctioned off beverage vending facilities for a three-year lease with two bids received, the lowest being BD 10,000.

In addition to these projects, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments opened a tender for car park maintenance and landscaping at the Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Center with the lowest bid at BD 47,300. The Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture also opened a tender for supervisory and consulting services for landscaping and maintenance of parks and green spaces with the lowest bid being BD 224,200. The Council of Representatives opened a tender for two Bahraini technicians to support IT services for two years with the lowest bid at BD 3,100. The Shura Council opened a tender for cleaning, hospitality, and office services with the lowest bid at BD 10,100.

Bapco, a major oil company in Bahrain, opened two tenders; one for manufacturing and supplying advanced process control services and another for purchasing and supplying carbon steel pipes, elbows, and structures for high-temperature use with the lowest bid at BD 37,700. Bapco Exploration and Production opened a tender for a rail service platform and related services with the lowest bid at BD 7,616,000. With various projects and tenders being opened by different government departments and organizations, there are ample opportunities for businesses to submit competitive bids and secure contracts for various services and projects in Bahrain.

Overall, the recent tenders and auctions opened by the Bahrain Tender Board have received a significant number of bids, indicating a strong interest from various companies and organizations in providing services for government projects.
