Cristiano Ronaldo led Al-Nassr to a 3-0 victory over Ettifaq in Stefano Pioli’s debut game as coach. Pioli, who achieved Serie A success with AC Milan in 2022, took over from Luis Castro, who was let go due to the team’s slow start to the season. Ronaldo, who missed the previous game due to illness, scored from a penalty kick in the first half, while Salem Al-Najdi and Anderson Talisca added goals in the second half. This win moved Al-Nassr to fourth place in the Saudi Pro League standings.

Despite the loss, Ettifaq stayed in third place in the league under the management of Steven Gerrard. Ivan Toney’s brace helped Al-Ahli secure a 4-2 victory over Damac, with Roberto Firmino also finding the back of the net. This win placed Al-Ahli in fifth place in the standings. The top of the table was held by Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, who were set to face each other in an upcoming match.

The victory over Ettifaq was an important one for Al-Nassr, as they aimed to improve their standing in the Saudi Pro League. Pioli’s appointment as head coach brought immediate success, with the team putting on an impressive performance. Ronaldo’s goal from the penalty spot showcased his skill and importance to the team, while Al-Najdi and Talisca’s contributions in the second half sealed the victory.

Despite suffering their first loss of the season, Ettifaq remains in a strong position in the league under the guidance of Steven Gerrard. The team will be looking to bounce back from this defeat and continue their strong run in the league. The presence of a high-profile coach like Gerrard has undoubtedly had a positive impact on the team, and they will be aiming to maintain their momentum in the upcoming games.

The performance of Ivan Toney in Al-Ahli’s victory over Damac was a standout moment in the match. Toney’s brace helped secure the win for his team, with former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino also getting on the scoresheet. Toney’s performance highlighted his importance to the team and demonstrated his ability to make an impact in key moments. This win was a crucial one for Al-Ahli as they looked to climb the standings in the Saudi Pro League.

As the league leaders, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad’s upcoming match was highly anticipated by fans and pundits alike. The clash between these two top teams was expected to be a thrilling encounter, with both sides eager to secure the win and maintain their position at the top of the table. The match promised to be a closely contested affair, with both teams boasting talented players and strong tactical setups. Fans were eagerly awaiting the outcome of this crucial match in the Saudi Pro League.
