Motorcycle riders in Bahrain are coming together for a special memorial ride to pay homage to Ronald De Guzman Fernandes, leader of the Pinoy Riders Group Bahrain (PRGB), who tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident. The PRGB team had planned a ride last Friday at 5am, but the ride turned deadly when they encountered an oil-laden road strip in Mina Salman, resulting in several crashes and Ronald’s death. In response, various motorcycling clubs in Bahrain, totaling around 2,000 riders, have decided to come together to honor Ronald by riding the same route he took last Friday.

The memorial ride will take place on Friday morning, with riders meeting at Tubli service station at 4.30am. The route will pass through Adhari Road, Hamad Town, and Formula fuel station, before ending at 5.15am. Roy Ribeira of the Falcon Riders group explained that the early morning timing of group rides in Bahrain is chosen to avoid heavy vehicular traffic, making it safer for riders to enjoy the open road. The tragic accident that claimed Ronald’s life has deeply impacted the motorcycle community in Bahrain, prompting riders from various clubs to join forces and honor Ronald’s memory.

The memorial ride serves as a way for the motorcycling community in Bahrain to come together in solidarity and pay their respects to a fellow rider. Ronald was well-known and respected among motorcycle enthusiasts in the Kingdom, and his passing has left a void in the hearts of many. By riding the same route that Ronald and his team took last Friday, the riders seek to commemorate his life and celebrate his passion for motorcycles. The ride is not only a show of support for Ronald’s family and friends but also a way for the entire motorcycling community to come together in a time of tragedy.

Bahrain’s motorcycling community is a tight-knit group that shares a common love for motorcycles and a sense of camaraderie. The various clubs in Bahrain, including the Pinoy Riders Group Bahrain, play a significant role in bringing riders together and creating a sense of community within the Kingdom. The tragic loss of Ronald has brought these clubs even closer, as they unite to remember a fallen rider and support his loved ones. The memorial ride is a symbol of the bond that exists among riders in Bahrain and a testament to the enduring spirit of the motorcycle community in the face of adversity.

The memorial ride for Ronald De Guzman Fernandes is a poignant reminder of the risks that come with riding motorcycles and the importance of safety on the road. The tragic accident serves as a sobering reminder for riders to always be vigilant and cautious while riding, as accidents can happen in an instant. The motorcycling community in Bahrain is coming together not only to honor Ronald’s memory but also to raise awareness about road safety and the need for responsible riding. As riders take to the road on Friday morning, they do so with heavy hearts but also with a renewed commitment to promoting safety and camaraderie within the motorcycling community.

In conclusion, the memorial ride for Ronald De Guzman Fernandes is a touching tribute to a beloved leader and rider, whose passion for motorcycles touched the lives of many. The outpouring of support from the motorcycling community in Bahrain is a testament to the bonds that riders share and the impact that Ronald had on those around him. As riders come together to honor Ronald’s memory, they also serve as a beacon of unity and solidarity in the face of tragedy. The memorial ride is not just a journey through the streets of Bahrain but a heartfelt tribute to a fallen rider whose spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
