As the weekend approaches, it’s time to plan some fun activities to enjoy your days off. There are plenty of exciting events happening around the country that you can partake in. From beach clubs reopening to special dining offers, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Let’s take a look at some of the top things you can do this weekend.

Popular beach club, Soul Beach Dubai, is reopening for the season at JA The Resort’s marina on Saturday, September 21. The club will host beachside festivals, starting with the OFF GRID event, featuring DJ Marc Kinchen (MK). Soul Beach offers a day-to-night experience, open Tuesday through Sunday, with entry costing Dh250 fully redeemable on food and beverages. The new season will include various music-driven events to create a lively beach atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

If you’re a foodie, then Riviera by Jean Imbert is the place to be. Located at The Lana, Dorchester Collection, the Michelin-starred restaurant has introduced a new French-Mediterranean menu for the upcoming season. With stunning city skyline views, guests can indulge in a variety of starters, mains, and sides, including signature dishes like Jean’s avocado and Ratatouille tart. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner by reservation, along with a Riviera Bar open in the afternoon and evening.

For pizza lovers, Cafe Society is offering a buy one, get one free deal on all pizzas and soft beverages this weekend at Tamani Hotel, Dubai Marina. From classic Margheritas to more adventurous options, guests can enjoy a range of delicious pizzas in a relaxed atmosphere. The offer is available from Friday to Sunday, making weekends the perfect time to indulge in tasty pizzas with a friend or loved one.

Feel like getting creative this weekend? Feels juice bar and kitchen has partnered with FoscArt for a sustainable, beach-inspired accessories workshop. Using recycled materials like plastic, paper beads, seashells, and fabric scraps, participants can create unique accessories while supporting marine conservation efforts. The workshop is priced at Dh100 and includes all materials, a healthy drink, and a meal. Limited seats are available, so be sure to register for a workshop near you.

If you’re looking for a pre-show meal before heading to Dubai Opera, Jun’s restaurant offers a new pre-theatre menu daily from 4pm to 7pm. Led by Chef Kelvin Cheung, the award-winning restaurant features a two-course set menu for Dh150, with starters like Salmon Carpaccio and Chilli Chicken, and mains like Tempura Veg Noodles or Wagyu Smash Burger. Guests can also enjoy desserts and select beverages, making it the perfect spot for a delicious meal before a show.

Lastly, don’t miss the Great Indian Biryani Carnival at Kovalam, President Hotel, from September 20 to 30. Partnering with Great Indian Biryani, the pop-up event will showcase a variety of biryanis from across India, including Hyderabadi, Lucknowi, and Kolkata styles. With unique options like Soya Supreme Biryani and Quinoa Biryani, there is something for every biryani lover to enjoy. After the event, the dishes will be available for delivery via popular food delivery platforms.
