The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) recently conducted a joint practical demonstration with the Musandam Security Force and the Royal Special Force of Bahrain. This exercise, codenamed “Al Nimr Al Arabi” or “Arabian Tiger 4”, was held under the auspices of Maj.Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the RAO. The event was attended by Brigadier General Yasser Mohammed Al Ma’awdah, Commander of the Special Operations Battalion 24 of the Royal Bahraini Special Force. The practical demonstration took place at the Combat Training Unit in built-up and mountainous areas in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, where the participating forces practiced their preset plans and achieved their training objectives.
The joint exercise was supported by the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) and showcased the high level of performance, morale, and combat ability of the participating forces. The soldiers demonstrated harmony in conducting joint drills and worked together seamlessly to achieve their training goals.
