Residents in Sharjah who find themselves in financial disputes have a solution that doesn’t involve going to court, thanks to an initiative by the Sharjah Police. This initiative, called ‘Al Salah Khair’ (Peace is Good), aims to resolve financial disputes out of court and has been successful in settling 385 cases in the first half of 2024. This has resulted in the return of over Dh20 million to claimants involved in financial disputes. The initiative has been running for 14 years now and has been helping residents, businesses, and institutions in Sharjah.

The director of the Department of Comprehensive Police Centres, Col Youssef Obaid bin Harmoul, highlighted the success of the Al Salah Khair initiative in resolving financial disputes and helping individuals save time and effort. By avoiding the traditional route of filing a case in court, individuals are able to settle their financial disputes quickly and efficiently. This initiative is in line with the vision of Sharjah to support the community and strengthen ties among residents in the emirate.

Through the Al Salah Khair initiative, the Sharjah Police have been able to facilitate the return of funds to claimants involved in financial disputes, without the need for costly and time-consuming legal proceedings. This programme serves as a valuable resource for individuals facing financial disputes and provides a more efficient and effective way to resolve conflicts. By streamlining the process and offering an alternative to court proceedings, the Sharjah Police are making a positive impact on the community.

The success of the Al Salah Khair initiative highlights the effectiveness of alternative dispute resolution methods in resolving financial disputes. By providing a platform for individuals to settle their cases out of court, the Sharjah Police are creating a more accessible and efficient way for residents to seek justice. This initiative not only benefits individuals involved in financial disputes but also contributes to building a more harmonious and cohesive community in Sharjah.

In addition to resolving financial disputes, the Al Salah Khair initiative also plays a crucial role in supporting the overall vision of Sharjah and strengthening community ties. By providing a platform for individuals to settle disputes and recover funds, the Sharjah Police are actively contributing to the well-being of residents and businesses in the emirate. This initiative serves as a testament to the commitment of the Sharjah Police to serving the community and promoting peace and harmony among residents.

In conclusion, the Al Salah Khair initiative by the Sharjah Police has proven to be a successful and effective way to resolve financial disputes without the need for court proceedings. By facilitating the return of funds to claimants and helping individuals save time and effort, this initiative is making a positive impact on the community in Sharjah. Through alternative dispute resolution methods, the Sharjah Police are promoting peace, harmony, and community ties in the emirate, in line with the overall vision of Sharjah.
