His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa recently chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting at Gudaibiya Palace in Bahrain. The Cabinet meeting focused on various topics, including the strong relationship between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the successful by-elections in Muharraq Governorate. The meeting also discussed upcoming initiatives for International Day of Peace and congratulated Saudi Arabia on its National Day.
During the meeting, the Cabinet approved several memorandums, including those related to commercial activities, cooperation with the private sector to support the education sector, and an MoU between the University of Bahrain and the University of Indonesia. The Cabinet also reviewed reports on the National Human Rights Plan, government agencies’ performance, and Bahrain’s participation in various international meetings.
The Cabinet emphasized the importance of strengthening Bahrain’s relationship with the United Arab Emirates, as evidenced by the recent visit of HM the King to the UAE. The Cabinet also expressed appreciation for candidates and voters who participated in the recent by-elections, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to democracy and development. Additionally, the Cabinet commended HM the King’s efforts in promoting peace, co-existence, security, and prosperity.
In light of the upcoming International Day of Peace, the Cabinet reiterated HM the King’s dedication to peace initiatives. The Cabinet also congratulated Saudi Arabia on its National Day, acknowledging the country’s accomplishments under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. This reflects the strong bilateral ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The Cabinet further discussed various memorandums and reports during the meeting, focusing on financial and economic affairs, legal and legislative matters, and Bahrain’s participation in international meetings and organizations.
