Minister of Hajj and Umrah concludes visit to Russia with focus on Pilgrim services

Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah recently visited the Russian Federation to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and improve services for pilgrims and visitors. He emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to facilitating Hajj and Umrah for all Muslims, utilizing digital solutions from Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance service quality and ensure pilgrim satisfaction. During his visit, Dr. Al-Rabiah met with officials in Chechnya, Dagestan, and Tatarstan to discuss ways to enhance the pilgrim experience. He also met with key Russian officials including Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to explore further cooperation and service improvements for Russian pilgrims.

Additionally, the visit included the opening of the “Nusuk” exhibition, which aimed to promote collaboration between service providers and showcase new services for pilgrims. These initiatives align with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of enhancing coordination and improving the overall experience for pilgrims and visitors worldwide. Dr. Al-Rabiah’s discussions in Russia focused on ways to strengthen cooperation and improve services for pilgrims, highlighting the importance of utilizing technology to enhance the overall experience for those undertaking the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage.
