Booking a taxi in Dubai has become more accessible and convenient with the introduction of a new service by e-hailing taxi solution Hala, which allows commuters to hail a cab through WhatsApp. The new feature aims to enhance passengers’ experience and reach a wider audience in the city. Hala, a joint venture between Roads and Transport Authority and Careem, continues to make a difference in the daily commute of people across Dubai by introducing this additional booking channel. The service is available 24/7, offering passengers easy access to rides at any time, alongside the regular booking option through the Careem application.

Passengers can now book a taxi on WhatsApp by messaging ‘Hi’ to 800 HALATAXI (4252 8294) to start the booking process. The Hala chatbot will request the passenger’s location and provide a booking confirmation with the captain’s information and estimated arrival time. Real-time updates are available for customers to track their ride until the taxi arrives, along with a live tracking link that can be shared with friends and family to monitor the journey. Users have the option to pay at the drop-off location using card or cash, adding to the convenience of the service.

Hala currently manages 24,000 captains on its platform with a fleet of 12,000 cars provided by its franchise partners for Dubai residents and visitors. This initiative aims to streamline the process of booking taxis in Dubai and make it more user-friendly for passengers. By leveraging WhatsApp as a booking channel, Hala is able to engage with a larger audience and offer a seamless experience for commuters in the city. The partnership between Roads and Transport Authority and Careem has resulted in innovative solutions to improve transportation services in Dubai.

With the introduction of the WhatsApp booking service, passengers can now easily book a taxi at any time of the day or night without the need to rely solely on the Careem application. The added convenience of being able to hail a cab through WhatsApp enhances the overall commuting experience for residents and visitors in Dubai. By providing real-time updates, live tracking links, and multiple payment options, Hala ensures that passengers have a smooth and efficient journey from start to finish. The service is aimed at making transportation more accessible and convenient for everyone in Dubai.

In conclusion, the new WhatsApp booking service offered by Hala in Dubai is a significant step towards improving the overall commuting experience for passengers. By providing additional booking channels and enhancing the accessibility of taxi services, Hala aims to make transportation more user-friendly and convenient for residents and visitors in the city. With the support of Roads and Transport Authority and Careem, Hala continues to innovate and introduce new features that cater to the evolving needs of commuters in Dubai. The availability of 24/7 service, real-time updates, and multiple payment options further contribute to a seamless and hassle-free experience for passengers booking taxis through WhatsApp.
