Musician Omar Harfouch awarded peace prize – News

Hollywood actor Kevin Costner recently presented composer Omar Harfouch with the Best Achievement for Peace Award at the Venice Film Festival. The award was given by the Better World Fund, an organization established to promote the use of cinema for humanitarian purposes. The event was attended by several international celebrities, including actress Susan Sarandon.

The award recognizes Harfouch’s upcoming concert on September 18 at the prestigious Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris.
