Zone Delivery Services, a subsidiary of Zone Multiverse, is making strides towards sustainability by incorporating electric vehicles (EVs) into its delivery fleet. This move aligns with Dubai’s vision of a greener future and supports the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative. The company aims to set a benchmark in eco-friendly practices by significantly reducing its carbon footprint, not just for business reasons, but also to set an example for others in the industry. Mehreen Inderyas, CEO of Zone Delivery Services, emphasized the importance of protecting the environment and reducing emissions by transitioning to electric cars.

In addition to the environmental benefits, adopting electric vehicles also brings significant business advantages for Zone Delivery Services. With Dubai’s expanding network of charging stations, the company can ensure its fleet remains efficient and cost-effective. Electric vehicles have lower operating costs, enabling competitive pricing while maintaining high service standards. Shahid Nadeem, managing director of Zone Delivery Services, views the transition to electric cars as a smart business decision that will give the company a competitive edge as more logistics companies adopt EVs in the future.

Dubai has positioned itself as a leader in global green mobility initiatives, with bold steps to promote the use of electric vehicles, invest in renewable energy, and build a robust charging infrastructure. This provides an ideal environment for businesses like Zone Delivery Services to adopt greener practices and drive sustainability forward. Ahmed Naqash, managing partner of Zone Delivery Services, highlighted the alignment of the company’s goals with the UAE’s pledge to achieve net zero by 2050, emphasizing the importance of integrating electric vehicles into the fleet to support the city’s green initiatives.

Zone Delivery Services supports Dubai’s aim to reduce transport energy consumption by 40 per cent and cut carbon emissions by 10 million tonnes by 2050 by adding EVs to its fleet. This shift also aligns with the UAE’s vision of increasing the share of electric vehicles to 50 per cent of total vehicles on the road. With a commitment to continuous innovation in EV infrastructure, the company is proud to lead the transition towards green mobility in the logistics industry. As more companies adopt EVs, the collective impact on the environment will be significant, and Zone Delivery Services is excited to be at the forefront of this change.

In conclusion, Zone Delivery Services is setting a new standard in eco-friendly logistics practices by incorporating electric vehicles into its delivery fleet. This move not only aligns with Dubai’s vision of a greener future but also supports the UAE’s commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. By reducing its carbon footprint and setting an example for the industry, Zone Delivery Services is taking a proactive approach towards sustainability while reaping the benefits of lower operating costs and competitive pricing. As more logistics companies follow suit, the impact on the environment will be substantial, and Zone Delivery Services is proud to lead the charge in this transition towards green mobility.
