Meteorology Department warns of low visibility along the coast tonight

The weather in Doha tonight until 6:00 am on Sunday is expected to be hazy with some clouds, and misty to foggy in some areas by late night. The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for poor horizontal visibility at certain locations by late night. Offshore, the conditions will be hazy at times.

In terms of wind, inshore areas will experience mainly northeasterly to northwesterly winds at a speed of 05 to 10 knots, which will become variable less than 05 knots by late night. Offshore, the wind will be variable, mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, at a speed of 03 to 13 knots. Visibility is expected to be between 04 to 08 kilometers, or as low as 02 kilometers in some places by late night.

Sea state inshore is predicted to be 1 to 2 feet, while offshore will be slightly higher at 1 to 3 feet. It is important to exercise caution and stay updated on weather conditions, especially if you plan to be out at sea or driving during the night. Be prepared for reduced visibility in some areas and adjust your plans accordingly.
